    About this picture:

Marleine Bastien is the founder, former president, and current Executive Director of Fanm Ayisyen Nan Miyami, Inc. (Haitian Women of Miami).

Marleine Bastien is considered a true leader in the Haitian community of South Florida.

Haitian advocates, community leaders and radio personalities stepped up efforts on Saturday March 31st to win the release of 101 Haitians who slogged ashore in Hollywood Beach.

All cubans who set foot on American soil can say go to US Immigration and apply for a green card, it's called the wet foot dry foot policy.

However, All Haitians who set foot on American soil illegally will be turned back.

Haitian Americans believe this is an unfair policy, what do you think?

    Its not fair

Bravo Politisyen Haisyen You have always outdone yourselves.Again, we have been treating like we are trash, and we should all stay in our country Haiti to die because you all are selfish, and liers, and we the people pay for your injustice.

Yes, we should have the same treatment as the cubans, but we will never be treated like them. Simply because we are not wanted in this land call america, some of those who could help us, does not care. So, my tears go out to all my illegals, and those suffering.

Maybe One Day, things will change for Haiti and its people, and until then, thanks to all who support this effort to have those 101 people release.

Haiti pap fini, kourage a toute Haisyen ki renmen Haiti, ki ap rele pou injiste fini lakay...
