    About this picture:

''It will be a bittersweet moment to see it gone, the building has brought a lot of hope to people -- it's reunited families.

At the same time, the long-term struggle that we had to carry out there to get Haitians respected has overshadowed some of the other stuff that occurred at that building.'' (Marleine Bastien, to the Miami Herald)

The last Haitian stand at the 79th st Immigration Building:

Haitian advocates, community leaders and radio personalities stepped up efforts on Saturday March 31st to win the release of 101 Haitians who slogged ashore in Hollywood Beach.

All cubans who set foot on American soil can say go to US Immigration and apply for a green card, it's called the wet foot dry foot policy.

However, All Haitians who set foot on American soil illegally will be turned back.

Haitian Americans believe this is an unfair policy, what do you think?
