About this picture:
Miami Archbishop John C. Favalora called U.S. immigration policy towards Haitians the equivalent of South African "apartheid."About the Haitian Protest: Haitian advocates, community leaders and radio personalities stepped up efforts on Saturday March 31st to win the release of 101 Haitians who slogged ashore in Hollywood Beach. All cubans who set foot on American soil can say go to US Immigration and apply for a green card, it's called the wet foot dry foot policy. However, All Haitians who set foot on American soil illegally will be turned back. Haitian Americans believe this is an unfair policy, what do you think?

America for Americans: Haitians Are Americans Too Double standard! Now, I have a number of suggestions:
- 1804: Haiti did not need anyone's help to kick Napoleon's small derriere. - A country 200 years old should be self-sufficient
- Cuba has many things Haiti does not: 1) A resilient president and government, which the United States cannot stand;
2) Cubans in Miami are more united and most of them despise Castro with more passion than Washington
3) The melanin problem. Haitians are darker than most Cubans. Caution: we should not let the issue divide us. Cubans generally love Haitians Now, what can we do? Have a president that Washington cannot stand. Socialist? -Bleach our skins or get some OIL quick. We will get attention and respect. James Tongue in Cheeks
