Double standard!
Now, I have a number of suggestions:
- 1804: Haiti did not need anyone's help to kick Napoleon's small derriere.
- A country 200 years old should be self-sufficient
- Cuba has many things Haiti does not: 1) A resilient president and government, which the United States cannot stand;
2) Cubans in Miami are more united and most of them despise Castro with more passion than Washington
3) The melanin problem.
Haitians are darker than most Cubans.
Caution: we should not let the issue divide us. Cubans generally love Haitians
Now, what can we do?
Have a president that Washington cannot stand.
Socialist?
-Bleach our skins or get some OIL quick.
We will get attention and respect.
